Ranson Dwain Davis. 18 and Jerry Lowery. 28. all of McDowell County were arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with breaking and entering According to Polk County Sheriff Boyce Carswell, three men in a van stopped beside the mobile home of Mr and Mrs. Jack Collins in the Sunny View Section Tuesday afternoon. The van pulled down the road and one man came back and knocked on the front door. Mrs. Collins, who was inside the mobile home, didn't answer the door as she was by herself. The man returned to the van and came back accompanied by another man They tried to get in the back door Mrs. Collins was inside talking on the phone as she called a neighbor to let him know that someone was trying to break in and the men heard her talking and ran off through the woods to the main road where the van picked them up The neighbor who was coming over to investigate saw the men and the van and provided a description to the police.
